At the helm of Bristol Building Company is Frank Bernhart, an accomplished general contractor who has been involved in the construction industry in one way or another for over 40 years. Frank holds his standards high when it comes to remodeling services, and this is echoed among all who work with him. With a masters degree in Education from George Mason University, Frank appreciates the value of both teaching and learning, and he has successfully applied these values to the construction industry.

Frank works hard to make sure the projects that are completed under his stewardship are done with precision and craftsmanship, and there are several motives for doing this. Frank wants to make sure that there is complete customer satisfaction in the work. In addition, Frank and his wife of almost 50 years, Alison, live in the Landfall community where most of Bristol Building Company’s work is done. This makes it doubly important for Frank, because not only is he your contractor, he is your neighbor. He is your friend. Friendship is a relationship that he cherishes more than any remodeling job.

When not working with clients or at a job site, Frank can be found in his 1967 Austin Healy 3000. He and Alison are the proud grandparents to two amazing children and they love spending as much time as possible with them. Alison also happens to be an accomplished real estate broker and owner of Landfall Realty in Wilmington. Together they share a passion for life, living and family, and of course, the smell of lumber and sheet rock.
